Andrea Phillips

Andrea grew up in the UK. She has always been passionate about health & nature. Rarely indoors (despite the weather) preferring to climb trees, being outdoors & immersed in nature, or reading about the natural world and living vicariously via copies of National Geographic.

She studied Nutrition & Dietetics at Leeds University (then a Polytechnic for those old enough to know what this was). After qualifying as a Dietitian, she lived & worked in London for 12 years.

Moving to Australia in 2005 with her husband, to experience a ‘different climate & way of life’. In this time, she moved away from health and into administration, projects & corporate life. Realising her heart & soul was in health & wellbeing she retrained as a remedial massage therapist in 2012.

Soon after and following her heart she was guided to Mette’s Institute to learn Kahuna massage with the exceptional facilitator, teacher & therapist Mette Sorensen. In more recent years she has become devoted to learning more about the body, mind & spirit through shamanic healing, energy work, personal growth, becoming a qualified Life Coach in 2021.

The depth of knowledge, increased awareness, passion for learning and exploring gained up to now is something she loves to share with others. She has worked with some world-renowned clinicians, therapists, healers, forever expanding on her understanding of the body, mind & spirit and how life can challenge all of these and create dis-ease, discomfort, or illness within the body.

Outside of her ‘working life’ Andrea is married to Nick. They have a teenage son and a long-haired dachshund. Moving to the Sunshine Coast was a dream come true. The coast has allowed her to live, love & create a more fulfilling way of life. From beach to bush, camping to luxurious cabins, stargazing, moon & forest bathing, beach walking, mountain biking, music loving, singer of songs, lover of movement & stillness, gatherings & alone time.
